Abreu Advogados strengthens its position in Best Lawyers

The 14th edition of the directory Best Lawyers in Portugal has announced its latest results and Abreu Advogados has strengthened its position in this prestigious ranking. This year the firm rose from 71 to 83 recognised lawyers and won two awards of “Lawyer of the Year”: “Lawyer of the Year – Insurance Law”, awarded to Nuno Luis Sapateiro, and for the second year running “Lawyer of the Year – Arbitration and Mediation”, awarded to Paulo de Tarso Domingues.

Abreu Advogados is already one of the most mentioned law firms, with an increasing number of lawyers among the leading names in Portuguese law. In the most recent edition, now published, 6 lawyers make the list for the first time: senior associate Joana Monteiro de Oliveira, in Tax Law; Associated Partner Ana Panão, in Intellectual Property Law; partner Francisco Patrício, in Insolvency and Reorganisation Law; senior associate José M. Raimundo in Real Estate Law; senior associate Benedita Pessanha, in Real Estate Law; and professional partner Diogo Pessanha, in Corporate Law.
