Abreu Advogados at LEX Africa Annual Conference in Maputo
Miguel Teixeira de Abreu, Chairman of the Advisory Board and founding partner of Abreu Advogados, partners Ana Sofia Batista and Zara Jamal, and João Pedro Matos Fernandes, senior advisor at the Knowledge Institute of Abreu Advogados (Instituto de Conhecimento) and former Minister for Environment and Climate Action of Portugal, will be speakers at the LEX Africa annual conference. Under the theme “A new era for Africa in a changing global landscape”, the event will take place in Maputo, Mozambique, on 16 October.
Miguel Teixeira de Abreu will speak on the panel “Dubai as the new hub for African Investments”, while Ana Sofia Batista will moderate the debate “Local Content in the Oil & Gas and Mining Industries”. Zara Jamal, also a partner at JLA Advogados (partner firm in Mozambique), will moderate the panels “Doing Business in Mozambique” and “Dubai as the new hub for African Investments”. Matos Fernandes will take part in the panel on “Sustainable Businesses”. Partner Diogo Pereira Duarte and professional partner Isabel Pinheiro Torres will also attend the event.
