Gonçalo Malheiro is a Partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2017, working primarily in the areas of Litigation and Arbitration. He focuses particularly on litigation proceedings in different areas of Law, such as civil and commercial litigation, insolvency, intellectual property, penal and criminal litigation as well as on several arbitration proceedings.

He has vast experience in participating in juridical proceedings before Common, Civil, Commercial, Criminal and Intellectual Property Courts as well as Arbitration Courts using the different procedural means available. Additionally, he provides support throughout the pre-litigation and negotiation phases which so often underly litigation.

Gonçalo is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Director and founder of the publication Young Arbitration Review and a registered Arbitrator at the Arbitration Center of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce of São Paulo.
