Abreu Advogados on the shortlist for the Forty Under 40 Awards of Iberian Lawyer
Abreu Advogados is on the list of finalists for the Forty Under 40 Awards in 2022, an annual initiative promoted by Iberian Lawyer that recognises the 40 best lawyers under the age of 40 on the Iberian Peninsula.
The law firm is nominated for 10 “Team of the year” nominations, with the following areas: General, Banking & Finance, Energy, Fintech, Litigation, M&A, Public Law, Real Estate, Startup and Tax.
In the individual nominations, the following Abreu Advogados lawyers were included in the shortlist:

- Cláudia Santos Malaquias (Lawyer of the year Energy; Lawyer of the year M&A)

- Diogo Pessanha (Lawyer of the year M&A)
- Isabel Pinheiro Torres (Lawyer of the year Banking & Finance; Lawyer of the year Fintech)
- Maria Inês Assis (Professional of the year Tax)
- Madalena Bernardes Coelho (Lawyer of the year Public Law)
- Paulo Amaral Basílio (Lawyer of the year Litigation)
- Sara Soares (Professional of the year Tax)
- Susana Duarte (Professional of the year Tax)
- Tiago Leote Cravo (Lawyer of the year; Lawyer of the year Public Law)
Last year, Abreu Advogados won two awards: the Tax team won Tax Team of the Year and Isabel Pinheiro Torres won Lawyer of the Year in Fintech.
The award ceremony will take place in Madrid on October 6.
