Diogo Belard Correia is a Professional Partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2020. He works primarily on real estate matters related to residential, tourism, commercial and logistics projects.

He has particular intervention in expansion projects for multinational companies advising on store relocation, contract renegotiation, as well as new leases.

He also has experience in advising multinational companies with several investments in Portugal, for the subsequent development of residential and tourism projects and student residences projects.

Work Experience

Advising several multinational companies in the retail sector, namely in the furniture, clothing and restaurant areas, for the implementation of their expansion plans, including acquisitions, securitisation, licensing and construction for the installation of retail units and large commercial surfaces;

Advising a multinational bank in the sale of its operation in Portugal (here including its real estate assets and other guarantees) to another multinational bank.

Advising investors and family businesses in the structuring of acquisition, development, licensing, construction and marketing projects for housing, tourism, university residences, senior residences and logistics;

Advising several high net worth investors in the acquisition, monetization and disposal of real estate in Portugal.
