Abreu Advogados strengthens its position in IFLR1000 Europe 2026 with three ranking improvements and four new individual entries

Abreu Advogados has once again been recognised by the international legal directory IFLR1000 Western Europe, which annually assesses law firms in the financial and corporate sectors. In the 2026 edition, the firm strengthened its position with improvements across three practice areas and four new entries in the individual rankings, consolidating the international recognition of its teams’ expertise and experience.

Abreu Advogados strengthened its position across several practice areas, with notable improvements in Restructuring and Insolvency, Banking, and Capital Markets: Equity, reflecting the firm’s continued growth and recognition in these key areas.

The firm also maintained its strong standing in Capital Markets: Debt, M&A, Project Development, and Project Finance, reinforcing its consistent performance and expertise across a broad range of legal practices.

These results reflect the recognition of Abreu Advogados’ growing activity and positioning in these areas, particularly in advising on financial transactions, corporate restructuring processes and capital markets transactions.

At an individual level, the 2026 edition stands out for the inclusion of four new lawyers in the rankings.
