Abreu Advogados named ‘Team of the Year – Banking & Finance’ for the second consecutive year at the Iberian Lawyer 40 Under 40 Awards
Abreu Advogados has once again been named Banking & Finance Team of the Year at the Iberian Lawyer Forty Under 40 Awards 2026, held on the evening of 24 September in Madrid.
The award recognises the work carried out by Abreu Advogados’ Finance team and its role in advising on highly complex transactions and projects, further strengthening the firm’s standing in the Iberian legal market.
This year, Abreu Advogados was shortlisted in three Team of the Year categories: Banking & Finance, IP & TMT and Tax. The firm also received seven individual nominations: André Modesto Pinheiro, Isabel Pinheiro Torres and Miguel Rodrigues Leal, in Banking & Finance; José Maria Alves Pereira, in IP & TMT; Ricardo Rocha, in Life Sciences & Pharma; and Sara Soares and Susana A. Duarte, in Tax.
Organised by Iberian Lawyer, the Forty Under 40 Awards annually recognise professionals under the age of 40 and teams that stand out in the Portuguese and Spanish legal markets, celebrating a new generation of talent in the legal sector.
