Abreu Advogados advises Raize founders on the sale of shares to Flexdeal
Abreu Advogados advised the founders of Portuguese fintech Raize, António Marques and José Maria Rego, on the sale of all their shares to Flexdeal, a property investment company for the promotion of the economy. Following this operation, Abreu Advogados also supported the two directors in the step-down process of the Portuguese fintech’s Board of Directors.
The Abreu Advogados team that advised Raize’s founders on this operation was led by Diogo Pessanha, professional partner, and included the participation of Diogo Pereira Duarte, partner of Abreu Advogados, on regulatory issues.
Raize is one of the leading financiers of Portuguese companies and one of the largest investment platforms, with more than 71,000 investors.
