Abreu Advogados reinforces team with nine lawyers

Abreu Advogados announces the promotion of nine trainee lawyers to lawyers, after successfully completing the firm’s trainee programme. With this round of promotions, Abreu Advogados continues its policy of betting on the younger generation and on some of the most promising talents of the Portuguese legal practice.

The most recent lawyers have completed Abreu Advogados’ internship programme over the past two years, having had the opportunity to work in several practice areas and sectors, with a personalised follow-up and in a model designed to enhance the development of the technical and personal skills of each one.

The new lawyers are: André Abrantes Neves (Corporate); Francisco Côrte-Real (Sports); João Soares Carvalho (Finance); Mafalda Duarte Domingues (Real Estate); Manuel André Martins (Tax); Manuel Santiago (Real Estate); Margarida Castillo Silva (Intellectual Property and Information Technology); Alexandra Jardim (Competition) and Mariana de Almeida Costa (Real Estate).

Abreu Advogados presented the recruitment campaign for internships “People like you” in 2021, promoting the firm’s bet on attracting different profiles of lawyers who will contribute to the sector with new perspectives and knowledge on the issues that will mark the agenda of legal services in the coming years.

We recall that in February this year the Firm had already promoted eight trainee lawyers to lawyers, integrated into different practice areas, and now counts a total of 17 new lawyers. These promotions are in line with Abreu Advogados’ growth strategy and the consolidation of its position as one of the leading independent law firms in Portugal.
