Abreu Advogados advises Grupo Rodilla on the purchase of A Padaria Portuguesa
Abreu Advogados advised the Spanish Grupo Rodilla on the acquisition of 100 per cent of the A Padaria Portuguesa chain.
Abreu Advogados’ advice included Due Diligence, the negotiation of the sale and purchase agreement and the notification of the operation to the Competition Authority, which is currently underway.

The Spanish group Rodilla, with around 300 establishments, is part of the catering brands of the Damm brewery, a company in the food and drink sector with a presence in more than 130 countries.
Founded in 2010, A Padaria Portuguesa has 84 shops nationwide and two factories in Lisbon and Porto. The company was put up for sale at the end of 2024 by its main shareholders, Nuno Carvalho, executive chairman, and José Diogo Quintela.
