Abreu Advogados advises Fortitude on the acquisition of a stake in BioPortugal Group
Abreu Advogados advised the private equity fund Fortitude on the acquisition of a stake in BioPortugal Group, one of the main distributors of medical technology in Portugal and Spain.
Abreu Advogados advised on the entire investment process, from the preliminary phase, which began with the legal due diligence carried out by the investment partner, to the preparation, negotiation and finalisation of the investment documents. In addition to the M&A component, with the signing of the investment agreement and shareholder agreement, Abreu Advogados’ advice also included the drafting of an innovative debt instrument, in the form of an equity loan with the issue of convertible bonds.
