Manuel Santiago is a senior associate and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2020, working primarily in Real Estate.

He has particular expertise in advising national and international investors, as well as private clients, at all stages of real estate investment projects. His experience covers acquisitions and sales of assets (both asset deals and share deals), leasing, the establishment of property rights, and the development of residential, senior living and student housing projects.

He acts across the full real estate investment lifecycle, from the legal structuring and design of transactions to the conduct of due diligence and the execution of acquisition, sale or leasing operations, including the implementation of projects on rural properties.

  • Advising on the contracting and execution of private construction projects, including the analysis, negotiation, and review of construction contracts and monitoring of issues arising from the execution of the work.
