Manuel de Andrade Neves writes opinion article on the energy transition for Expresso

Manuel de Andrade Neves, a partner at Abreu Advogados, is the author of an opinion article published in the Expresso newspaper on the energy transition in Portugal.

The lawyer points out that ‘energy storage is still the unsung hero of the energy transition’, at a time when Portugal is advancing on its electrification and decarbonisation journey.

In this context, Manuel Andrade Neves’ view is that “Portugal has the opportunity to lead by example, adopting energy storage technologies that will not only support the transition to a cleaner and more efficient energy system, but will also strengthen its position as a leader in renewable energies”.
