Filipa Calheiros Ferraz takes part in the 4th edition of the Lisbon Climate Conference
Filipa Calheiros Ferraz will be a speaker at the 4th edition of the Lisbon Climate Conference, organised by Universidade Católica Portuguesa, the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal and Université Laval, on 29 September in Lisbon. This year’s conference is dedicated to the theme “Climate Change and Reparations”.
The lawyer will take part in Panel 3, at 2.30 pm, with a presentation entitled “Establishing the Causal Link and Climate Reparations”, focusing on causation and compensation for damage arising from climate change.
The Lisbon Climate Conference aims to foster reflection and debate on the legal challenges associated with climate change, with particular emphasis on questions of liability and mechanisms for reparation.
