Filipa Calheiros Ferraz to participate in the international conference “Law and the Environment 2026”
Filipa Calheiros Ferraz will participate in the international conference “Law and the Environment 2026”, which will take place on 23 April, at University College Cork (UCC), in Ireland. The event marks the 22nd edition of this annual conference, which this year is dedicated to the theme “Consolidation in Environmental Law”.
The Abreu Advogados associate will join “The Environmental Science – Law Interface” panel, where she will speak on “The Role of Scientific Evidence in Climate Law Processes: Causation and Loss and Damage”, in an online intervention.
The conference brings together academics, judges and leading practitioners from different jurisdictions to discuss some of the most topical issues in Environmental Law, including climate governance, climate justice, environmental regulation, nature conservation and the role of science in legal decision-making.
