José Eduardo Martins and João Pedro Matos Fernandes invited to teach ESG course module
José Eduardo Martins, partner at Abreu Advogados, and João Pedro Matos Fernandes, senior advisor at Instituto de Conhecimento, were invited to teach a module of the online course ‘ESG Reporting and Due Diligence’ at NOVA School of Law.
This course allows participants to understand the evolution of the ESG legal framework and adapt to the new requirements for companies, including Portuguese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that want to gain a competitive advantage in today’s market, in order to improve their risk management and value creation and become leaders in corporate sustainability.
The module led by the two Abreu representatives focuses on the E of ‘environment’ and will demonstrate how to conduct a due diligence process in terms of environmental regulation and risk.
