Abreu Advogados in the top 4 M&A legal advisors in Portugal

Abreu Advogados in the fourth position for the Transactional Track Record (TTR) ranking for M&A operations in Portugal, carried out in the 2nd quarter of the year, with a total value of operations of 906.54M €. According to the report made by this technological platform that aggregates transactional data on a global scale, the transactions carried out in this 2nd quarter registered an increase of 45.93M € compared to the first quarter.

Some of the operations advised by Abreu Advogados that contributed to this prominent place were the conclusion of the sale of 81.1% of Brisa (international transportation company), carried out by a consortium of foreign companies, and the acquisition of the Saphety Level business unit by Vortal or the advice of the Portuguese startup Codavel.

According to Transactional Track Record’s quarterly Report, Portugal’s M&A market closed the first semester with a decrease in the number of transactions compared with 1S2019.
