Abreu Advogados recognised in IAM Patent 1000 2026
Abreu Advogados has once again been recognised by IAM Patent 1000, the leading international ranking in the field of patents, standing out in the 2026 edition in the “Litigation and Transactions” category, where it is ranked in the Gold Band, equivalent to Band 1.
This distinction reinforces Abreu Advogados’ position among the leading law firms in Portugal advising on patent matters, both in litigation and transactional work, reflecting the team’s multidisciplinary experience and ability to support national and international clients in matters of high technical and legal complexity.
At an individual level, the ranking also once again distinguishes several Abreu lawyers. António Andrade maintains his position in the Gold Band, while Manuel Durães Rocha remains ranked in the Silver Band. Ana Panão rises to the Silver Band, consolidating her recognition in this field, and Ricardo Henriques is ranked in the Bronze Band.
The IAM Patent 1000 annually identifies the leading firms and professionals in the patent field, based on in-depth research that includes feedback from clients and peers, as well as an analysis of the experience and work carried out in each jurisdiction.
