Abreu Advogados takes part in Porto Urban Rehabilitation Week
Maria Santa Martha, Mariana Gouveia de Oliveira and Sara Soares will be speakers at the 13th edition of Porto Urban Rehabilitation Week, taking place from 12 to 14 November at the Casa da Arquitetura in Matosinhos.
This event, organised by Vida Imobiliária, brings together more than 100 speakers and 60 organisations to discuss solutions to the housing crisis, new financing models and innovation in construction.
Their contributions will take place in panels dedicated to the legal and tax aspects of the real estate sector, also addressing new legislative proposals such as the review of the Urban Simplex and recent tax measures applicable to the industry. These topics are particularly relevant in the current context of the search for affordable housing and the simplification of licensing processes.
- 12 November | 18:05–18:35 – Mariana Gouveia de Oliveira and Sara Soares will take part in the panel “The Fiscal Architecture of Real Estate: current framework and reforms on the horizon.”
- 13 November | 10:35–11:15 – Maria Santa Martha will participate in the round table “Housing Cooperatives – International examples as a solution for housing access.”
The event’s programme includes conferences, technical workshops and legal seminars, with a special focus on discussions about territories of opportunity, construction industrialisation and the impact of technology on the sector.
