Abreu Advogados sponsors the 24th Annual IBA Arbitration Day Conference
Abreu Advogados will be one of the sponsors of the 24th Annual IBA Arbitration Day Conference, an event organized by the International Bar Association (IBA) that promotes cooperation and development among lawyers, arbitrators, and other professionals in several regions around the world. The central theme of the conference will be “International arbitration in a divided world: a challenge to the system’s legitimacy”.
The event will feature numerous panels and discussion sessions on topics such as the impact of third-party funding on investment arbitration, the implications of sanctions for international arbitration, the duty of disclosure: self-regulation vs statutory regulation, corruption in international arbitration, and the perils and promise of transparency.
