Barbara de Sousa Basto to speak at a session on alternative dispute resolution methods at UCP
Bárbara de Sousa Basto will be a speaker at a session dedicated to alternative dispute resolution methods, taking place on 16 April at 2.30 pm at the Portuguese Catholic University – Porto Regional Centre.
The initiative, organised by ELSA, is aimed at law students and will explore the practical aspects of mediation, negotiation and arbitration, offering a concrete insight into the day-to-day professional reality in these fields, as well as the career paths and skills required to pursue a career in this area.
The event will feature individual presentations by the speakers, followed by a joint practical exercise, which will highlight the different approaches taken by each dispute resolution mechanism, fostering a more practical and comparative understanding of these practices.
