Elisa Pereira discusses the challenges of Lusophone arbitration in Macau
Elisa Pereira will be a speaker at the 2nd Lusophone Arbitration Congress, taking place from 15 to 18 October in Macau. The event will be held under the theme “Lusophone Arbitration: Building Global Platforms for Innovative Justice”.
On 17 October, the Abreu Advogados partner in Timor-Leste will take part in the panel on Energy Disputes. Her intervention will focus on issues relating to Lusophone arbitration, with particular emphasis on Timor-Leste, where Abreu has maintained a permanent presence for over a decade.
Organised by the Lusophone Arbitration and Mediation Association (ALAM), the Congress will bring together legal professionals and business leaders from Portuguese-speaking countries to discuss the evolution of arbitration across the Lusophone world and its relationship with other markets, including Macau, Hong Kong and mainland China.
