The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), a cornerstone of the harmonisation of international trade, entered into force in Portugal in October 2021, bringing new interpretative and practical challenges for legal practitioners.
Marta Boura, a consultant at Abreu Advogadas, is one of the authors of the book Lessons on Impediments to Performance in the “CISG”, which serves as a structured guide to an autonomous understanding of the Convention, highlighting its contribution to reducing legal uncertainty and to the uniformisation of international commercial rules.
Published by AAFDL Almedina, the work offers a rigorous analysis aimed at lawyers, students and professionals in international trade.
