Abreu Advogados supports IBA’s ‘The New Era of Taxation’ event

From November 6th to 8th, the IBA (International Bar Association) conference ‘The New Era of Taxation’ will take place at the Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa Hotel, with the support of Abreu Advogados.

This Thursday, the 7th, partner Alexandra Courela will be speaking on the panel ‘Tax issues of tokenisation of real world assets’, from 17:00 to 18:00. On the same day, Maria Inês Assis will interview Judge Gustavo Courinha of the Lisbon Supreme Administrative Court.

Susana A. Duarte, professional partner, and Luísa Casimiro da Costa, senior associate lawyer, will be present to attend the conferences.

Over the course of the three-day event, various topics will be debated, including Pillar 2 and its impact on cross-border M&A deals, Tax aspects of Start-Ups, Tax issues of tokenisation of assets, International tax controversy in the new era and Tax aspects of corporate redomiciliations.
