Abreu Advogados participates in Thinking Football Summit
The 2nd edition of the Thinking Football Summit, which will take place between 7 and 9 September at the Super Bock Arena, will once again bring together several nationally and internationally renowned speakers in the field of sport.
Fernando Veiga Gomes, partner, and Alexandre Miguel Mestre, of Counsel at Abreu Advogados, will be present at the event and will take part in three different panels.
Abreu Advogados’ participation in the Thinking Football Summit begins on 7 September with Alexandre Miguel Mestre, consultant at Abreu Advogados, on the panel “Sports justice – The future of the Court of Arbitration for Sport”. The present and future challenges of the Court of Arbitration for Sport will be the focus of this panel discussion.
Fernando Veiga Gomes, a partner at Abreu Advogados, will also be speaking at the Thinking Football Summit on 7 September, an initiative promoted by the Sports Integrity Global Alliance as part of the 4th edition of Sport Integrity Week 2023. Under the theme “Football in Europe & beyond: Integrity vision 2030”, the future of football in Europe and the role that integrity plays in it will be debated.
On the final day of the event, 9 September, the Abreu Advogados partner will take part in the panel “Digital Sports Governance – Sports vs Esports Federations”, on the specificities of governance in esports.
