Regulation and European competitiveness under discussion at the CCB with Maria João Melícias
Maria João Melícias will participate in the conference “Competitiveness, Innovation and Regulation in Europe” on 27 October, organised by the Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance (IPCG), in partnership with Abreu Advogados.
The Co-Head of Abreu Advogados’ Competition, Regulatory and EU Law practice will join the panel “Regulation and European Competitiveness”, which opens the programme of discussions and brings together legal professionals and experts to explore the relationship between the regulatory framework and the ability of businesses and the European economy to compete in an increasingly demanding international environment.
Throughout the morning, discussions will also address topics such as board empowerment, the role of innovation, technology and artificial intelligence in organisational management, and the impact of AI on society and talent management. The conference aims to explore the challenges transforming the way businesses make decisions, compete and grow in Europe.
The event will take place in the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Room at the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB), starting at 9.00 am.
