Carmo Sousa Machado and Gonçalo Delicado speak at ECO’s “Labour Law Reform” conference
Carmo Sousa Machado and Gonçalo Delicado will be speakers at the “Labour Law Reform” conference, organised by ECO, taking place on 22 October at the ECO Studio in Lisbon.
The event will bring together experts to discuss the proposed changes to Portuguese labour legislation — from employment contracts to dismissal rules — at a time when a comprehensive reform of the labour law is underway. To assess the impact of these changes, Trabalho by ECO will host two panel discussions aimed at anticipating the future of work in Portugal.
Carmo Sousa Machado will take part in the first panel, at 10:15 a.m., dedicated to the topic “Flexibility or Precariousness? Changes in Employment Contracts.”
Gonçalo Delicado will join the second panel, at 11:35 a.m., to discuss “Dismissals: Facilitate or Balance?”
