Maria Santa Martha discusses new local accomodation rules at a seminar co-organised by Abreu Advogados and Imojuris
In response to the changes in Local Accommodation and their impact on the sector—resulting from an amendment to the legal framework governing the operation of such establishments, in force since 1 November 2024—Abreu Advogados is co-organising, alongside Imojuris and in partnership with Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) – Escola do Porto, the seminar “Local Accommodation: What to Expect in 2025.”
The session will take place on 4 February at the Corticeira Amorim Auditorium of UCP and will feature partner Maria Santa Martha, who will present “The Recent Amendments to the Legal Framework of Local Accommodation” and participate in the discussion panel alongside António Barros (Porto City Council), Eduardo Miranda (ALEP – Local Accommodation Association in Portugal), and Vítor Amaral (APEGAC – Portuguese Association of Property Management and Administration Companies), moderated by Rita Henriques (Faculty of Law, UCP Porto).
