Abreu Advogados advises Coralcompass on the acquisition of Sport União Sintrense Futebol SAD
Abreu Advogados advised Coralcompass, Unipessoal, Lda. on the acquisition of a 75% shareholding in the share capital of Sport União Sintrense Futebol SAD. The transaction marks the entry of a new majority investor into the sports company, as part of a process aimed at reinforcing its shareholder structure and consolidating the club’s sporting and organizational project. The operation involved multiple parties and required the coordination of a significant volume of legal acts and formalities, within the regulatory framework specific to the sports sector.
Abreu Advogados’ legal assistance covered all stages of the transaction, including the structuring of the deal, the negotiation and preparation of the contractual documentation and support through to completion, ensuring compliance with the applicable legal requirements, in the areas of corporate law and sports law.
The transaction was led by Fernando Veiga Gomes, with the participation of Hugo Teixeira, Inês Cortez Elói and Francisco Côrte-Real.
