Maria Santa Martha comments on changes to the Local Lodging regime

The updates to the Local Lodging Regime, which came into effect in late 2024, were discussed during the panel “Local Lodging: What to Expect in 2025,” where Maria Santa Martha, partner at Abreu Advogados, shared her insights. The event, held in Porto on 4 February, was organized by Abreu Advogados and Imojuris, with support from the UCP Porto Faculty of Law.

Maria Santa Martha highlighted that the changes reflect a “more balanced solution,” crafted in a “mature and thoughtful” way, building on previous experiences and adjustments.
