Benedita Pessanha and Manuel Santiago sign article on Local Accommodation published in Confidencial Imobiliário

Benedita Pessanha, senior associate lawyer at Abreu Advogados, and Manuel Santiago, associate lawyer, are the authors of the article ‘New Changes to the Local Accommodation Regime’, published in the October edition of Confidencial Imobiliário, a databank that provides statistical data on real transaction prices, yields and rental contracts for residential properties, as well as which new property projects are in the pipeline.

The article talks about Decree-Law no. 76/2024, of 23 October, which again changes the legal regime for the operation of local accommodation establishments, revoking some of the new rules that had been imposed by Law no. 56/2023, of 6 October, better known as the ‘Mais Habitação Programme’.
