Rodrigo Formigal, partner, and João Soares Carvalho, associate, of Abreu Advogados contributed to The Lending and Secured Finance Review guide on the position of the Portuguese banking sector. The guide concludes that the Portuguese banking sector is now in a stronger position and less sensitive to shocks than during the pandemic, with continued progress in deleveraging and reducing problem assets.
