Abreu Advogados takes part in the Luxembourg Private Equity Seminar in Lisbon 2025

Abreu Advogados is participating in the Luxembourg Private Equity Seminar in Lisbon 2025, an event organised by the LPEA – Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, taking place on 29 April at the Lisbon Marriott Hotel. Bringing together specialists and thought leaders from the private equity and venture capital sector, the seminar highlights the strategic role of Portugal and Luxembourg as interconnected financial hubs, and encourages discussion around opportunities for international investment and collaboration.

João Diogo Barbosa, Associate at Abreu Advogados, will join the panel “How to structure Alternative Funds in Luxembourg”, which explores the most common investment structures used by Portuguese fund managers in Luxembourg, from both legal and tax perspectives. Participation in this event reinforces Abreu Advogados’ positioning as a leading legal partner in international investment operations, with a particular focus on private equity funds and regulated structures, and is part of the firm’s strategy to closely follow developments in European financial markets.
