Ana Rita Duarte de Campos to speak at Criminal Law Students Society course on offences against the State
Ana Rita Duarte de Campos is taking part in the first edition of the Course on Specific Criminal Offences, an initiative organised by the Criminal Law Students Society (CLSS). The course is dedicated to the study of different forms of criminality from a practical and contemporary perspective.
The Abreu Advogados partner will lead the session on offences against the State, namely the concept of the State as the protected legal interest, corruption offences and economic and financial crime, as well as abuse of power and misconduct in public office.
The session will also include an analysis of offences against State security, namely espionage and treason, together with issues relating to the criminalisation of protest, disobedience, and State secrecy and transparency.
