Abreu Advogados anticipates opportunities in Lusophone markets in 2026
Abreu Advogados told Jornal Económico that, in 2026, Angola is expected to benefit from a new investor profile, with a stronger presence from the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa, driving major infrastructure projects such as the Lobito and Namibe Corridors and the new Luanda airport, with an impact on construction, energy and logistics.
In Mozambique, sustained economic growth underpinned by foreign investment in energy, mining and infrastructure is forecast to consolidate, with particular emphasis on gas from the Rovuma Basin, as well as the dynamism of real estate and tourism.
In Timor-Leste, the focus will continue to be on investment in infrastructure and energy, including the energy transition, in a context of structural reforms.
