JLA Advogados and FBL Advogados shortlisted for the African Legal Awards 2022
JLA Advogados (Mozambique) and FBL Advogados (Angola), both members of the Abreu International network, are nominated for the international African Legal Awards 2022, an initiative of publisher Law.com International.
JLA is nominated in two categories:
- Banking & Finance Team of the Year – Small-Mid Practice
- Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team of the Year – Small Practice
FBL is also nominated in two categories:
- Law Firm of the Year – Small Practice
- Private Practice Most Promising Newcomer Award – Igor Fortes Gabriel
In 2020 JLA Advogados in Maputo was elected the best law firm of the year in the African market.
These awards, promoted by Law.com International in partnership with the Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa (CCASA) and Africa Legal, honour legal talent in Africa by rewarding firms and lawyers in various practice areas.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Johannesburg on 2 September.
