Abreu Advogados supports ISCTE’s Online Postgraduate Programme in Tax Consulting

Abreu Advogados is an institutional partner of the “Tax Consulting” postgraduate programme promoted by ISCTE, designed to respond to the growing demands of tax compliance and the need for highly qualified professionals in an ever-evolving sector. This postgraduate course offers participants the opportunity to acquire the technical and behavioural skills essential for practising tax consulting, whether they are beginning their careers or seeking to deepen their expertise and advance professionally.

The teaching faculty includes Abreu Advogados Partner, Ana Sofia Batista, and President of the Abreu Knowledge Institute, Luís Barreto Xavier. The programme stands out for its strong practical and applied focus. The classes, delivered mainly online, provide an immersive and interactive experience that replicates a traditional classroom environment, and also include a final experiential module dedicated to applying the knowledge gained through real-world projects.

Key topics covered include the Portuguese tax system, corporate compliance and maturity, tax consulting practices, and the representation of clients in tax audits and inspections. The programme also awards a postgraduate diploma issued by ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, recognised for its academic quality and practical relevance.
