Abreu Advogados embraces new generations and creates Abreu NextGEN working group

Abreu Advogados has just created Abreu NextGEN, a working group that includes a group of 12 young lawyers, including trainees, associates and senior associates, all under the age of 35, with the mission of supporting the Executive Committee and Partners in defining the vision and strategy for the future, in areas such as innovation, career management, organisation or digitalisation of the firm.

With the creation of Abreu NextGEN, the firm aims to give a voice to the younger generation and guarantee a diversity of opinions in decisions with an impact on their careers and futures, to gather complementary perspectives for better decision-making and to receive and give feedback on the issues that concern the younger generations.

It is also the mission and objective of this reflection group to ensure that the leadership is close to the younger members of the organisation, to listen to future leaders and to support their development.

“We want to share ideas freely on the issues that concern them and that they would like to see considered by management, as well as listening to their ideas on the future of Abreu, innovation, strategy, career management, organisation and digitalisation. We want to hear about projects that we are implementing and that will have a significant impact on the future of Abreu”, emphasises Inês Sequeira Mendes, Managing Partner of Abreu Advogados.
