Mariana Gouveia de Oliveira takes part in the International Cambridge Forum on Transfer Pricing Law
Mariana Gouveia de Oliveira, Partner at Abreu Advogados, will take part in the International Cambridge Forum on Transfer Pricing Law, taking place from 30 September to 2 October in Presles, France.
On 1 October, she will join the session “Restructuring & Recurring Losses”, which will focus on the challenges that current geopolitical developments pose to the international structures of multinational groups and, in particular, to their transfer pricing models.
Topics under discussion will include the application of the arm’s length principle in contexts involving conflict, embargoes and sanctions, the reallocation of functions, assets and risks, the treatment of recurring losses, and access to double taxation treaties following restructuring processes.
The International Cambridge Forum on Transfer Pricing Law brings together specialists from different jurisdictions to discuss legislative and case law developments, compliance challenges and emerging issues in transfer pricing, fostering the exchange of experiences and perspectives on the evolution of international taxation.
