Diogo Pereira Duarte coordinates the 3rd Postgraduate Course in FinTech
Diogo Pereira Duarte is coordinating the 3rd Postgraduate Course in FinTech, which will run from 8 January to 9 July 2026, via videoconference.
The partner at Abreu Advogados and co-head of the Financial practice area took part yesterday, 8 January, in the opening session and will be teaching over the next six months on “Challenges of FinTech Regulation”, “Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) and Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) and borderline cases (e.g. staking, DeFi, NFTs, etc.)”, “MiCA and the reverse solicitation exemption”, “ECSPR, Delegated Regulations and ESMA’s Q&A” and “FinTech corporate governance and internal control”.
Other members of the firm are also among the course lecturers, namely Nuno Sapateiro, Pedro Ferreira Malaquias, Ricardo Henriques, Isabel Pinheiro Torres, Luís Barreto Xavier and Catarina Mascarenhas.
The course is organised by the Centre for Private Law Research (CDIP) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
