Abreu Advogados supports the publication of the book “Blue Planet Law”
The book “Blue Planet Law – The Ecology of our Economic and Technological World”, edited by Maria da Glória Garcia and António Cortês, was published with the support of Abreu Advogados.
The book highlights the protection of the climate and oceans and the sustainable use of natural resources, through new policies, economies and technologies, including biotechnology, with a view to preserving life, health, food and a healthy environment for present and future generations, thus promoting an interdisciplinary dialogue that brings together contributions from 33 authors from different areas of knowledge.
The work of the international publisher Springer is available in open access, which was made possible through funding obtained through a crowdfunding platform that integrated several companies, including Abreu Advogados.
The publication is a contribution to the UNO Sustainable Development Goals 13 and 14 and a tribute to the Declaration of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment.
