Abreu Advogados strengthens its prominent position in the ITR World Tax 2026 ranking

Abreu Advogados has once again been recognised in ITR World Tax, maintaining its top-tier positions and further consolidating the international recognition of its Tax Law team. In this latest edition of the ranking, the firm advanced to Tier 2 in the Transactional Tax category and reinforced the individual distinction of its specialists.

Alexandra Courela, co-coordinator of the Tax practice area, was recognised as a Women in Tax Leader, in addition to her previous distinctions as Highly Regarded in the General Corporate Tax and Transactional Tax categories. Meanwhile, Joana Maldonado Reis has been newly recognised as Highly Regarded and Women in Tax Leader in Tax Controversy, further strengthening both female representation and the technical excellence of Abreu Advogados’ tax team.
