José Carlos Vasconcelos is a Professional Partner at Abreu Advogados since 2018, working primarily on commercial contracts, real estate, acquisitions and corporate restructuring.

He has extensive experience on matters relating to mergers, acquisitions and spin-offs, as well as distribution and supply contracts, and real estate. He has managed various company acquisitions and sales and advised multinational companies on such matters as legal audits and negotiation of the terms of purchase and sale, chiefly in the health, food and industrial sectors.

He also has extensive experience in negotiating franchise agreements and other commercial contracts, having been responsible for legal matters on behalf of a major food and catering group and a major industrial and real estate group in Portugal.
