Ricardo Henriques and Catarina Mascarenhas teach in the “Law and Practice of Artificial Intelligence” course

Ricardo Henriques and Catarina Mascarenhas are part of the teaching faculty of the Law and Practice of Artificial Intelligence course, together with Luís Barreto Xavier, and will be delivering several lectures.
Ricardo Henriques will address the topics “Data Regulation” and “High-Risk Uses” on 5 and 11 November, respectively, while Catarina Mascarenhas will lecture on “Risk Levels” on 22 October.

This course is promoted by the Abreu Advogados Knowledge Institute, in collaboration with the Lisbon School of the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, through Católica Next, and with the Instituto Superior Técnico (Técnico+). It continues the work developed since 2018 by the Research Group on Law and AI of the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law.

The programme offers an in-depth look at the applicable regulatory framework, with a practical approach aimed at organisations that already integrate — or plan to integrate — Artificial Intelligence into their operations.
