Abreu Advogados supports the conference “The Future of Europe’s Security”

Abreu Advogados is sponsoring the conference “The Future of Europe’s Security”, co-organised by the Portuguese Association of European Law (APDE) and the Centre for European Studies of the Institute of Political Studies at the Catholic University of Portugal (IEP-UCP), which will take place on 27 January at Auditorium 3 of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

The conference will bring together a high-level panel of policymakers and recognised experts to debate the strategic, political, economic and defence challenges facing the European Union. The event will include contributions from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, the Secretary of State for European Affairs, Inês Domingos, and the Representative of the European Commission, Sofia Moreira de Sousa, among other experts from European and international institutions.

At a time when European security and defence are taking on a central role in the European project, this event invites reflection on the European Union’s key strategic, political and economic challenges and promotes critical dialogue on foreign policy, defence, the economy and strategic autonomy, encouraging the active participation of all those with an interest in Europe’s future.
