Maria João Melícias takes part in the EducationUSA Portugal LLM Fair 2025
Maria João Melícias, co-head of the Competition, Regulatory and EU practice area at Abreu Advogados, will host the New York University (NYU) table at the EducationUSA Portugal LLM Fair 2025. The event returns to Lisbon on 8 November, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The lawyer will share her insights on the added value of pursuing an LLM, as well as on the international opportunities that such a qualification can open up for Portuguese legal professionals.
The EducationUSA Portugal LLM Fair, organised by the Fulbright Commission/EducationUSA Portugal and part of the EUR EducationUSA LLM Tour, brings together eight leading U.S. law schools offering LLM (Master of Laws) programmes. These one-year postgraduate degrees are designed for law graduates who wish to specialise in specific areas such as International Law, Human Rights, Arbitration or Business Law.
