José Eduardo Martins moderates webinar ‘Sharing facilities in waste management’

José Eduardo Martins, partner at Abreu Advogados, will be the moderator at the webinar ‘Sharing facilities in waste management’, organised by LIPOR – Associação de Municípios para a Gestão Sustentável de Resíduos do Grande Porto.

The online event starts at 10.30 a.m., with an opening session by José Manuel Ribeiro, chairman of LIPOR’s Board of Directors, and Emídio Sousa, Secretary of State for the Environment.

This will be followed by the round table ‘Sharing Facilities: optimising resources? Barriers and Opportunities’, with Ana Cristina Carrola (APA), Paulo Praça (ESGRA), Diogo Rosa (ERSAR) and Marta Neves (Valorsul) as speakers.

LIPOR manages, recovers and treats municipal waste produced by its eight member municipalities: Espinho, Gondomar, Maia, Matosinhos, Porto and Póvoa de Varzim. Every year, it treats approximately 500,000 tonnes of municipal waste produced by around 1 million inhabitants.
