Abreu Advogados Shortlisted for the STEP Private Client Awards 2025
Abreu Advogados has been shortlisted for the STEP Private Client Awards 2025 in the category of International Legal Team of the Year (Midsize Firm), and is the only Portuguese law firm among this year’s finalists.
Organised by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the STEP Awards are internationally recognised as one of the most prestigious accolades in the legal sector, celebrating excellence and innovation in advising private clients, succession planning, fiduciary structures, and international taxation.
Abreu’s nomination follows a highly competitive selection process, with this year’s edition attracting 337 submissions from 25 countries, reflecting the global reach and high standards upheld by the organisation.
This distinction acknowledges the work carried out by Abreu’s Private Clients and Tax teams, which have established a strong international profile, particularly in complex matters involving international wealth, cross-border tax planning, and international investment structures.
The nomination further underscores Abreu Advogados’ commitment to technical excellence, strategic vision, and the ability to anticipate client needs—hallmarks of the firm’s approach and key drivers of its growth in both domestic and international markets.
The awards ceremony will take place in London on 18 September 2025.
