Observador | Pro Bono | Immigrating to Portugal: the rules changed midway through the process

“Immigration rules have changed, and this has had an immediate impact on ongoing procedures,” says Raquel Brito.

In the third and most recent episode of the “Pro Bono” programme, the lawyer analyses the impact of the new rules for obtaining residence in Portugal and for those who are already in the country and in the process of regularisation.

The episode focuses on the changes applicable to family reunification, CPLP citizens and jobseeker visas, in a context in which many migration procedures now require a more rigorous reading of the various authorisation stages and of the legal requirements now in force.

Every Wednesday, at 3:15 pm, on the “Pro Bono” programme, Abreu Advogados and Rádio Observador help companies make decisions, understand the most complex aspects of the law and clarify some of the main current issues.
