Inês Sequeira Mendes highlights the acceleration of digital transformation in Public Administration in 2026

According to Inês Sequeira Mendes, the key decision the Government must take in 2026 is to accelerate digital transformation in Public Administration.

In comments to ECO, the Managing Partner of Abreu Advogados states that “it is crucial for the competitiveness of the economy to expand digital services that simplify all interactions with Public Administration and make the work of those in public service easier”.

As for the risks and opportunities facing the sector in the year ahead, Inês Sequeira Mendes emphasises that “the legal profession will face challenges related to its ability to adapt quickly to multiple changes within the sector itself, in an international geopolitical and economic context that remains volatile and has a direct impact on the lives of individuals and businesses”.
